JOB ROLE

 

  • Supporting and motivating and encouraging staff to create and deliver training material across the business
  • Stakeholder meetings to discuss training and development plans
  • Recruiting delivery staff to grow the team
  • Managing Tutors, Assessors and IQAs
  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of training for the company across its funded learning programmes from assessment to achievement for progression into employment
  • Knowledge of ESFA funding and performance rules, OFSTED Education Inspection framework
  • Developing regulated and on regulated learning programmes for assessment to achievement for progression into employment and education
  • Overall management of learning delivery, standardisation, awarding body accreditation, safeguarding, curriculum development
  • Manage and coordinate the training schedule.
  • Making sure all learning quality resources are in place for all courses offered, such as schemes of work, lesson plans, sampling plans and reviewed regularly
  • Achieve contract targets
  • Managing portfolio systems
  • Staff inductions and training
  • Conducting team meetings
  • Manage and coordinate learner/learning support actions when identified by the team.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Must have experience working as a Training Manager
  • Knowledge of funding rules
  • Assessor or IQA qualified

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS

 

£28,000 to £30,000 per annum

Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5pm = 37.5 hours per week

25 days holiday, day off for Birthday + stats
