Assessor/Development Coach

For Adult Health & Social Care

The role is home based and then travel around the South Coast (areas close to where you reside)

We are seeking someone to join our clients passionate and friendly team, where you will be assessing in Adult Health & Social Care and delivering the apprenticeship standards for learners undertaking Adult Care.  The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of frameworks to standards with strong organisational skills.  The client has a grade 2 Ofsted and also offer fantastic promotional opportunities and really do look after staff well.

 

JOB ROLE

  • To observe, mark and assess and review the work of the learners for level 3 and 5 in Adult Health & Social Care
  • Deliver training remotely and face to face with learners
  • To support, motivate and mentor the learners
  • Using Smart Assessor portfolio system
  • Managing a caseload of 40 to 45 learners
  • Attend weekly remote meetings with team members to encourage new ideas and concepts

 

REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE

  • Assessor qualified such as TAQA, A1, D32/D33
  • Must have assessed in level 5 Health and Social Care to include management, however will accept level 3 if you have an understanding of care management and have clinical experience, or worked in a Care Home for Adults as a manager in the past.

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • Salary from £24,000 to £31,000 per annum
