One role is covering Fareham and the other Gosport – home based and then travel to one of these locations when needing to see the students one to one or in a classroom setting

Job role

  • Assessing and training in either Weapons engineering, or marine engineering or aircraft engineering – experience of any one of these disciplines
  • Dealing with apprenticeship inductions, briefs and sign ups, regular reviews with each apprentice every 12 weeks
  • Managing a cohort of apprentices
  • Providing information, advice and guidance regarding all aspects of the apprenticeship standard and the EPA process
  • Progress reviews, observations and uploading to the PICS system
  • The role may also involve overnight stays for time to time in other locations in the UK and Scotland when required in the future – fully expensed


Essential Experience required for the role:-

  • Must be Assessor qualified such as CAVA or A1 or D32/D33 Awards
  • Ideally qualified to level 3 in an Engineering discipline

Salary and Benefits:-

  • To £28,500 per annum
  • Mileage paid for visits
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30 pm 1 hour lunch = 37.5 hours per week
